MISUNDERSTANDING 3: The Silent Killer of Destiny

Misunderstanding in a literal sense implies that, you missed what’s under where someone else is standing.

From your spot, their truth looks like a lie.
From your lens, their timing looks like delay.
From your level, their wisdom looks like foolishness.

This is where disturbance begins. You judge from your ground, but they’re standing on a different one. Your ideas, philosophy, and concepts may be miles away from the reality you’re seeing in people or things around you.

One of the most dangerous states is not understanding a concept, yet feeling bold enough to condemn what someone else is doing.

Let’s be clear: It’s evil of the highest order to judge without confirming, without knowing, without seeing, without grasping what they know, what they’ve seen, what they stand upon, and why they act.

You can’t crucify what you haven’t studied.

You can’t call it fake until you’ve confirmed the original.

So beloved, do this instead; Don’t judge. Seek clarity. Don’t tear down. Seek understanding. Don’t react. Seek truth first.

This one discipline will shape our world. It will let visions, ideas, concepts, and innovations see the light of day. Because many have been aborted early. Not because they were wrong, but because we misunderstood their operation. We didn’t give them space. We didn’t give them time.

Let me add this too, God has blessed people with great minds. Some have developed theirs so well to see beyond the ordinary. Possibility inside impossibility. A way inside the river and Positivity always.

If you don’t understand what’s going on, do these things instead; Keep quiet. Stay watchful. Be humble enough to admit you don’t.

Ask questions, don’t be proud.

Embrace new initiatives and seek to understand them.

Because the thing you’re fighting today might be the thing that saves you tomorrow.

Never stop growing. In time, you’ll catch up in understanding and by then, you’ll fit into the operation of the new thing God is doing right where you are.
